The Project

ByArianna is a Pokemon-inspired art business that operates in the top TOP 5 English-speaking countries.

With a team of true artists, the founders have managed to create a unique business based entirely on product customization that revolves around their passion for the Pokémon world.

TARGETS - Q4 2021

The goals were crystal clear from the first day we met the founders:

  • Scale up as much as possible during Q4, one of the potentially most prosperous periods for this business

  • Maintain each month on MER (marketing efficiency ratio) defined as sustainable for business growth.

STARTING SITUATION

Until before we took over the entire marketing department, most of the budget was focused on two campaigns:

  • Prospecting – High Budget (campaign that received weekly budget or creative refresh)

  • Retargeting – ABO

Conceptually the campaigns stood, what we had to do was to go from spending $800/day to even $3000/day, in a word: SCALING!

WHAT WAS DONE: [FASE 1] CREATIVITY ANALYSIS AND DASHBOARD

  1. CREATIVITY REPORT: On all the businesses we start working with we begin by doing a thorough analysis of the creative, exporting to Google Sheet the best creative from the last 12 months-exporting conversions only occurred post-click (very important because facebook’s attribution model tends to give itself too much credit even with “1 day view” windows)

2. DASHBOARD: We created a dashboard with Google Data Studio that integrates both Google Analytics and paid Adv channels. This way we are able to keep track of the Marketing Efficiency Ratio on a daily basis and have clear metrics, despite data deterioration due to IOS14

[FASE 2] SETUP TEST AND SCALING

Following the testing framework, inspired by Depesh Mandalia’s BPM Method, we have.
Below are the activities performed:

  1. Conducted several creativity/audience/landing page tests to identify what were the angles and the best creativity+copy+landing page matches.

2. Set up prospecting and scaling campaigns with the winners of these tests

3.Analyzed the entire purchase path, the UX of the site and developed an audit that will lead to a redesign and A/B test of the product page, with the goal of improving the % of add to cart

[FASE 3] MARKETING AUTOMATION

We set up cart retrieval and win-back sequences to bring those who have already bought to repurchase, as well as added a “welcome series” on those who have not yet bought
